FAQs

What if I don’t know what I want to do next?

That’s completely okay — and more common than you think. Financial planning isn’t just about numbers; it’s about creating space to explore your options with confidence. We’ll build flexibility into your plan so that your money supports you while you figure things out.

I’ve been laid off — is now the right time to work with a planner?

Yes — especially if you’re making key decisions about severance, healthcare, old 401(k)s, or what’s next. A financial plan can help reduce stress, clarify your options, and give you a clear path forward. You don’t need all the answers before you reach out.

How do I know if I’m “financially ready” for planning?

You don’t need to have everything perfectly organized or a high net worth to benefit from good advice. If you’re navigating change and want a clearer picture of your finances — and what’s possible — that’s the perfect time to connect.

I already have a good handle on my finances. Do I still need financial planning advice?

Many of my clients are financially savvy — they just want a second set of expert eyes on their plan. You might be doing a lot of the right things, but want help optimizing, organizing, or ensuring you’re not missing anything.

What if I don’t want ongoing support?

No problem. While many clients choose to continue with regular check-ins and plan updates, others feel great after the initial plan. I offer flexible, no-pressure support — it’s your call, based on your needs.

Do you sell products or manage investments?

No. I offer flat-fee, advice-only planning. That means no sales pitches, no product commissions, and no portfolio minimums — just transparent, fiduciary guidance tailored to you
